This Week In Sales - March 4 ,2024

Target attainment is rising, humans vs AI, and 25% of Sales leaders still anticipate layoffs (oof)…

Here’s what’s happening!

March 4, 2024

#1 - Sales target attainment is trending upwards 📈

After a rough stretch for many quota carriers in 2023, there are signs of optimism based on data from Bravado and others.

Sahil Mansuri recently highlighted monthly improvements since October, with 41% of surveyed Sales teams achieving their quota in Feb '24 (vs 29% in Oct '23).

Sentiment among revenue leaders seems to be a blend of improved 'efficient' performance meeting more conservative and attainable 2024 growth targets.

Let's hope we see 50%+ teams hitting target in March!

Mark Kosoglow will be squaring off with the machine on Wednesday at 2 pm EST in a ‘Human vs AI’ Sales coaching duel.

He will be joined by other top-tier Sales thinkers Kyle Norton, and Dave Kennett to discuss the future of Sales coaching.

ReplayzIQ is presenting the session and will step into the ring to represent AI. This piqued my curiosity to check out the platform and reminded me that times are very much a’changin.

Call me old-fashioned but for now, I’ll be rooting for the human 🍿
